Solution
During my initial consultation I picked up on the passion that the founder, Amanda, had for fashion, beauty and creative trends. She experienced first-hand how her make overs changed peoples life, and she wanted her brand to support her out-reach to help others. The Color is a Dream brand needed to be artistic, vibrant, bold, and authentic just like her.
The project started with a few rounds of selecting and refining brand choices, from the initial logo design to font pairings and a color scheme. I chose the watercolor dream catcher as the artistic element behind the logo because it really spoke to her creative services and unique brand. I then applied the brand guidelines to a variety of social media, printed and digital marketing efforts to promote an in-person Launch Party to showcase her abilities and new website.
The last component I had to have completed prior to the Launch Party was a customized WordPress website using X theme. The website included a video splash on the home page, custom designed graphics, an instagram feed, portfolio page, and background music to name just a few of the components. The website was live prior to the Launch Party, and the result was an influx of traffic, shares and conversations on her social media feeds, and booking new clients for photoshoots as well as personal styling.
Special Thanks
Thank you to Raven Worthy-Sutton, from The Launching Pad, for the introduction and all of the coordination for the Color is a Dream Launch Party and Digital Marketing efforts. Thank you to Amanda Pye, the Founder of Color is a Dream, for being such a pleasure to work with and allowing me to showcase your brand on my portfolio.
